Getting started with Growth

From your first tag order to your first ranking: the whole Growth flow in one walkthrough.

Written by Vera Egli

Growth helps your team collect more guest reviews. You order branded tags with QR codes, your staff hand them to guests, and every eligible scan earns points for the person and the location. This guide takes you through the whole flow, from ordering your first tags to watching the leaderboard fill up.

ℹ NOTE

Growth is always available in your main navigation, below Insights. To start using it, you first order your tags.

How Growth works

  1. Order: order branded tags for the people who talk to your guests.

  2. Assign: when the tags arrive, give each code a location and a promoter.

  3. Collect: your team shows the tags to guests, who scan them and leave a review.

  4. Rank: every eligible review earns points, and the leaderboard shows who is ahead this month.

Step 1 - Open Growth

Click Growth in the main navigation, below Insights. Until you've ordered your tags, you'll see the three steps above and an Order tags button.

Step 2 - Choose your code type

Choose Order tags. On Choose your code type, select the Personal Tag Kit: 5 tags per kit, CHF 49.90. Each tag is carried by one team member, who hands it to guests. Eligible scans earn that person points.

  1. Set how many kits you need and choose a colour (1).

  2. Check the subtotal and choose Continue (2).

The Table Sign and Wall Sign show "Coming soon" and can't be ordered yet.

Step 3 - Customize your branding

Your logo is applied to your tags. Choose Change logo to upload a different one — JPEG, PNG, PDF or SVG, up to 15 MB. A vector file gives the cleanest print.

If you'd rather not have ThreadWork branding on your tags, switch on Remove ThreadWork branding for CHF 9.90. This makes all selected items white-label. Then choose Continue.

Step 4 - Choose the delivery

On Delivery, choose where your tags should go.

  • Deliver to — select one of your locations from the list. To send the tags somewhere else, tick Deliver to a different address and enter the details.

  • Planned location — the location the tags are meant for. By default it's the same as the delivery location (Use delivery location). Untick it to choose a different one.

This only helps us prepare your order. You set up and assign your tags separately, after they arrive.

Step 5 - Review and confirm your order

On Review your order, check everything: the kits and colour, the planned location, your branding, and the delivery details.

  1. Under Select billing account, choose the account to charge. Choose Manage accounts to change your accounts.

  2. If you have a discount code, enter it and choose Apply.

  3. Check the summary: the tag kit, branding removal if you chose it, delivery (included), included tax, and the total.

  4. Choose Confirm order.

The first time you pay with a billing account, the total shows "Review required" and Confirm order is greyed out. Review the payment details, tick the box that allows the saved card to be used for future ThreadWork purchases, and choose Enable purchases. Then Confirm order becomes available.

Step 6 - Track your order

After you confirm, you're back on the Growth page. Under Code deliveries you can see your order, for example "5 codes" for your location with the status Order placed and the note "Your tags are being prepared". The Activity feed shows "Codes ordered". Choose See order history to see all your orders.

Step 7 - Confirm the delivery and assign your codes

When your tags arrive:

1. On the Growth page, click Assign codes.

2. Click Confirm delivery.

3. Select a code and choose its Location. The code is now active.

4. Assign the code to the promoter who will carry the tag.

For all the details, see Assign codes and manage promoters.

Step 8 - Hand out tags and track the results

Your staff hand their tags to guests. A guest scans a tag and lands straight on your review page. Eligible scans earn points, and you can follow them on the Growth page:

  • Overview — active promoters, points, average per promoter, and participation rate.

  • Leaderboard — switch between Locations and Promoters. It resets every month.

  • Public leaderboard — the link at the top right opens your leaderboard as its own page, which you can publish.

That's it

Your tags are ordered, assigned, and collecting reviews. From here, the leaderboard updates on its own, and a new ranking starts every month.
