Notification preferences

Choose which ThreadWork notifications you receive — in the app and by email — and where to change them.

Written by Vera Egli

ThreadWork keeps you informed two ways: in-app notifications while you're working, and email notifications for things that shouldn't wait until you next sign in. You control both per person — your preferences don't change what your teammates receive.

Where to change them

  1. How to get there

    1. Open Settings

    2. go to → Notifications.

  2. Turn notifications on or off as you like.

  3. Choose whether you want to receive notifications in the app or via email (or both).

What ThreadWork notifies you about

  • New reviews — when a review arrives that needs your attention (for example, one waiting for approval under your reply rules).

  • Published replies — when a reply goes out, including automated ones, so you can spot-check automation.

  • Connection problems — when a review source expires or is revoked and reviews stop syncing.

  • Team changes — when someone joins or leaves your workspace.

  • Suggestions from ThreadWork — for example, when ThreadWork notices a pattern in your edits and proposes a reply rule.

ℹ NOTE

In-app notifications appear briefly and dismiss themselves — they're reminders, not an inbox. Anything that needs action (a reply waiting for approval, a broken connection) is always visible in the app itself, so you can't miss it by missing a notification.
